Ministry of Magic

The current Minister for Magic is Lester Stalk, who took over for Neleus Flint in April 1979.

A halfblood and former member of the Wizengamot, Lester Stalk wants results, and he wants them now. After his last two predecessors bungled the job so badly, he is determined to maintain the dignity of the office of the Minister for Magic. And catch some of those damned Death Eaters, and vigilantes, while he's at it. He's firmly against anyone operating outside the law, staunchly anti-purism, and his brother wrote a book about Muggles. Needless to say, he's not popular in pureblooded circles.

Qualifications for Employment: Roles in the Ministry of Magic cover a tremendous spectrum of needs. From light secretarial work to Auror, almost any character can find something that they qualify for. We do not have qualifications set up for every role, but please use common sense (ex: Muggle Studies would be required for someone working on the Muggle-Worthy Excuse Committee). The majority of training for positions in the Ministry of Magic is a short, two week or less process and you are expected to learn more as you go. However, when it comes to the training/hiring of some specific positions (Auror, Hit-Wizard, Unspeakable, Wizengamont) see this page for more information.
