| As the Ministry of Magic's Auror Office has thus far failed to catch me, or to even so much as draw connections between my activities, I feel the need to explain my actions and the motivations behind them so that the wizarding public at large may understand them and stand by me. For years, the Department of Magical Law Enforcement has been puzzled by the deaths of numerous Muggles up and down the country, whose sudden, utterly unexplained passings have pointed to none but wizarding hands. Likewise, we all know that Muggl Auror Regina Sands has been missing for months. The case was quite closely examined in this very newspaper, and yet no leads can be found. How can an Auror, so many have wondered, trained and seasoned, go missing without a trace? I actually found disposing of her quite easy, and I couldn't allow an unworthy Muggle, hardly fit to hold a wand, let alone to hold one of the elitist positions in this great nation. I am disappointed to see that the Auror Office has not been performing better without Muggle filth polluting it. I had expected better investigations with her gone, but I suppose that it will take some time to excise Miss Sands's influences from the department. Surely, we can all appreciate the favour done for magical society at large in ridding this unworthy interloper and all who support her from our world. |
My name is Lord Voldemort and my Death Eaters and I have been working tirelessly for years to insure the future of wizardkind by ridding it of the rot of Muggle influence. We only want what is best for our children, and their children: a world ruled by those who have the right and the ability to lead us -- those of pure blood. In realising that many wizards have blighted family trees by no fault of their own, we seek to improve the blood of those who have unfortunately been damned by their ancestors. Those who support us and our aims have nothing to fear. We do not wish to spill magical blood. However, after seeing how incompetently the mudblooded Ministry of Magic has handled everything from our international relations to control of the Muggles of Britain, I can no longer stand back and let our nation be ruined. If the Ministry hands power over to me, it will be guaranteed a peaceful and prosperous future for all who belong in the magical world. If it does not, with the support of my followers, I will have no choice but to wrestle control from these incompetent fools by force. This is not something that I wish to do, but in these desperate times, desperate measures must be taken, for the sake of all our futures. |
